Visiting Casa Verdi

Innumerable visitors, illustrious and otherwise, have entered Casa Verdi: musicians and singers have performed here in concerts; politicians and religious figures have wished to pay homage to Maestro Verdi and to the institution that he created; and then there are the relatives and friends of the Rest Home's Guests.

A visit to Casa Verdi is a unique experience. You are immersed in the memories of a residence that has a thousand life stories to tell - not only those of Giuseppe Verdi and his wife, with their personal effects, home decorations, art collections, and even their tombs, but also those of all the Guests who have lived here in over a century.

Verdi's crypt can be visited from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The museum rooms and the Great Room of Honor may be visited only by group reservation.

No entrance fee is requested, but donations are welcomed.
